NCC Laguna presents:

Jingang Qigong - “A New Self” Health-Care Opportunity

Though we have had our first class, there is still room for more!

Our next “Relax and Smile” Qigong class will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14. The class begins with some simple stretching. The first two classes of the six-week session focused on practicing the basics of this form of Qigong, which are relaxing, breathing, feeling the energy and the blockages within our bodies, visualizing a healed body, and opening up from the tension that we hold. We’re also getting in touch with the qualities of goodness within us that bring healing. According to one of the participants in the first session, it was a calming experience that taught her some new ideas on how to approach self-healing. If you’re ready to take the health of the interdependent body, mind, and spirit to a new level, this class is for you.

The practice of “Easy, Fun, Safe, Relax-and-Smile Jingang Qigong” is a new 6-week class offered at Neighborhood Congregational Church, led by a long-time pastor in our denomination, Thomas Kugler.

The first six weeks of learning and practice sessions will run Jan. 7 – Feb. 11, meeting every Wednesday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the sanctuary.

Suggested Donation: $10/session or $50/full six-week session which will help support Neighborhood Church’s work in the community.

Daily practice can:

- help heal our negative emotions and the dis-ease they cause in the body

- reconnect us with our innate sources of healing - kindness, love for all, and forgiveness

- remove energy blockages and reveal our natural spiritual gifts of:

- inner peace, patience, kindness, joy, gratitude, humility, courage, tenderness, generosity

- develop the ability to relax in healthy ways with greater energy flow

- allow our bodies to fight sickness and reduce the effects of aging

- help build unstoppable confidence within ourselves
