About the Artists:

Longtime Laguna locals Beth and Steve Wood have a 45 year long trail of accomplishments in music. Select milestones include being members of legendary band Honk, live and recording appearances with Jackson Browne, Kenny Loggins, Sting, George Harrison, The Moody Blues, and Paul McCartney. Beth produced the Tuesday night songwriter’s showcase for nearly 10 years which became a way station for a tremendous number of highly talented and accomplished performers.. two of which will be reuniting with Beth and Steve Wood for NCC Bridge Hall benefit concert on April 1st!

Steve and Beth have been friends with and have performed with Jack Tempchin since they all met in 1971 at the Four Muses in San Clemente!

Jack Tempchin is a legendary hit songwriter whose two compositions, “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Already Gone”, are now synonymous with the Southern California Sound. Both songs are on ‘Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975’, awarded *Best-Selling U.S. Album of the 20th Century* by the RIAA. Tempchin has five Eagles contributions total, including “The Girl From Yesterday” from the ‘Hell Freezes Over’ reunion release, plus “It’s Your World Now” and “Somebody”, both on their latest double disc release, ‘Long Road Out Of Eden’.

Emmy award winning Ernest Troost is a film and television composer as well as a recipient of the prestigious Kerrville New Folk award for his songwriting. He also composed and produced two award winning albums of songs for Judy Collins using the words of Emily Dickinson, Robert Browning, Gertrude Stein and others. Los Angeles based Troost’s scores for films include the cult classic Tremors and HBO’s award winning Lesson Before Dying.
