Mando, known to most of us as a beloved singer and soloist at NCC, is also a Gang Enforcement Detective with the City of Long Beach:

My intention is to raise awareness and understanding among our citizens on the matter of police procedures; a very important topic in our country at this time. I will explain why certain things are done in a certain way across the Nation, by Law Enforcement. I will also address some of the simple changes that can be implemented in Police Departments across the Nation that would make a world of difference on the outcome of some police encounters. Keeping us all safe and informed is my main objective.

Because of my 16 years in Law Enforcement, 11 of those years as a Gang Enforcement Detective in Long Beach California, I have a lot of information I would love to share. I think my presentation will answer many of the lingering questions on our citizen’s minds.
