01-04-15: See and Be Radiant

Scripture: Isaiah 60:1-5

Although the people of God are to be a light to the world, a beacon leading everyone towards peace and justice, the simple truth is this: Light shines in the darkness but does not make the darkness go away. This is why it is imperative that we keep shining our light. Like the Magi who followed the star to Bethlehem, may we, who follow the light of God and seek to shine that light within ourselves, rejoice in the presence of the Holy One. See you Sunday.
