Today’s reading from Luke recounts a post resurrection appearance of Jesus to his disciples—an appearance where they share a meal of baked fish together. The disciples were not ready to move forward, and Jesus came to them without admonishment or complaint. God meets us where we are, and ministers to us when we are not ready for next steps.
