7-24-16: Sorting Out the Spiritual Gifts

Scripture reading: I Samuel 10:1, 9-13I Corinthians 12:4-14

We come into the world with different capabilities.  Who determines what we are good at and what we are not good at, if not the God who created us?  If we are to live together well and creatively in community, we need to be aware of, and own, both to ourselves and one another, what our respective unique gifts are.   And then arrange our common life accordingly.  This is especially important in the Church of Jesus Christ--and sometimes especially difficult.  Come to church Sunday having reflected on what your gift is, and what you want the gifts of the lay leaders and the pastor at Neighborhood Church to be.

See you Sunday,

Jeff
