Thank You from the Laguna Food Pantry

A few weeks ago, local Girl Scouts held a Mother-Daughter Tea in Bridge Hall to raise funds for the Laguna Food Pantry.

Dear Girl Scout Troops 274 and 3217 and parents,

The Laguna Food Pantry family thanks you for your hard work and dedication.  I am so happy you were able to see the Pantry and what we do firsthand.  Your $600 makes a significant impact, Bill and I were just discussing what we should purchase this week to assist the families to come to us for food.

If I remember correctly, $600 is more than you raised last year, an impressive feat!  Not only that, you made sandwiches for the homeless shelter next door.  I know for a fact, that they are grateful that you brought food to them and you care.

I think your new badge is well deserved!  Not only does volunteering help others, it rewards you too.

Kindest regards,

Elizabeth Haines
